The Fascinating Parallels Between Coffee And Bourbon

The Fascinating Parallels Between Coffee And Bourbon Have you ever noticed similarities between things not often compared and found it interesting? Then, exploring further reveals even more similarities? Well this happened to me over a long period of time. I wouldn’t consider myself an expert, but definitely someone who is passionate about two beverages: coffee, and bourbon. As I’ve learned more about each over the past few years, I’ve recognized more and more similarities between these two beverages. Mashbill vs. Taste Profile

Mashbill vs. Taste Profile One aspect of whiskey that intrigues me is how the grain bill (or percentage of grains used to make the whiskey) affects the flavor. The further I’ve gone down the rabbit hole learning about whiskey production, the more I’m fascinated by the many factors that can affect how a whiskey tastes. If you have a great experience at a distillery, usually you want to buy something to commemorate the trip. This can be in the form of apparel, glassware, barware, or your favorite spirit. In some cases, it may be a combination of all of the above, but one of the hardest choices can be, “which spirit should I buy?” Sometimes it’s easier than others, but often times, especially in today’s market, there are so many choices… it can be hard to decide. I may have a possible solution for this problem. I will admit, this is not an original idea. I’ve heard this talked about a few times with friends, as well as some influencers on the internet, but I felt like I could add some fuel to the fire. This solution is smaller format...
